Internet marketing world has kinds of digital currencies or e-currencies (electronic currencies). (We hope no one here is allergic to the word beginning with “e-”). They have very vital function, namely as “money”. They are equal to value of currencies of non-”e-”. They apply internationally. Transactions take place through electronic internet-based computer. Many parties such as marketers, vendors, affiliates and others believe the security. They are not worried that their money would be lost, provided certain condition must be met regarding safety. Basis of their motion is as their each name, i.e. in e-commerce (electronic commerce) environment. Scope of their motion to reach goods and services in terms like distribution, purchasing, sales and marketing.
Some examples:
1. Credit Card, which is an electronic settlement tool for retail transactions with credit system. Issued by legal entity such as a bank, of which the holder can withdraw money from ATM machine in the state debt to the bank.
2. Debit Card, which is an electronic payment card issued by a bank. It refers to the balance of storage. Any withdrawals of cash from an ATM machine that reduces the balance stored. Withdrawals exceed deposit will be rejected by the machine automatically.
3. Paypal, which is mean of payment (payment processor) is safest to use credit card over internet. Its function is to overcome deficiency in the traditional delivery such as check or money that orders in long process. It works as a bank account.
4. 2checkout, the process of payment using credit card such as Visa, MasterCard, Amex, JCB, Discover, or others. Each transaction process, credit card’s number and data should always be included.
5. E-gold (e-metal), i.e. currency unit of real gold. Value assessed using digital money that can be easily traded online. In addition it is also guaranteed deposit fully with real gold stored in London, England, by the company E-gold operated by Gold & Silver Reserve Inc.. Gold transfer system can be done quickly.
6. C-gold, which is a digital currency on backup with real gold. It is the same as C-Gold.
